Clos du Gravillas
Sous les Cailloux des Grillons Syrah Blend
2017 vintage. Beautiful electric magenta hue. Meaty, gamey, earthy, plum, but balanced by generous acid. Could use just a touch more time in bottle for flavors to integrate, but outstanding wine #organic

Aug 17th, 2018This smooth and fluid French blend of 7 different varietals reflects the unique Southern French Mediterranean soil. Magenta in appearance and presenting fruit aromas, its taste of plum and blackberries make it a sipping treat on a chilly Canadian night Cheers 🍷

From an assortment of grapes grown on an arid and rocky, white gravel plateau in the tiny village of St Jean, France - this small batch, biodynamic beauty has alot of personality. Instantly fresh and out of the bottle with notes of red fruit, silky, smooth and growing in complexity as it breathes. By the final glass I was noticing hints of leather & blackberry jam.

Sep 10th, 2019A really nice wine from the Côtes du Brian area. Great fruit and acid. Earthy. Delicious with a nice thick lamb chop. Syrah, Cab, Cinsault, Carignan, Terret, Counoise, Mourvèdre, Grenache, & the kitchen sink. I’d like to try it when it’s got a couple more years in bottle. At Watershed @ The Owl
