Fred Cline founded Cline Cellars in 1982, in Oakley, California. In 1991, he relocated to the Sonoma Valley on a 350 acre estate in the Carneros District. Aromas of fresh berry fruits and pepper spice. On the palate cherry and strawberry flavors with notes of espresso and cacao, a touch of oak and spice. Medium finish, fine soft tannins, good balance ending with fruit and a bit of spice. Nice value. Pair this with a brisket or pulled pork sandwich. Tasting Sample.

Best wine I've had in the last 3 months. Definitely the best zin I've ever had. Complex, yet perfectly smooth.

Zin goodness. Classic Zin goodness. It’s like the well worn blue jeans of Zins. Comfortable, friendly, familiar and casual. That’s a lie I hate blue jeans and really like this wine but I hear normal people do like jeans, very blueberry, vanilla scented, and there’s so raisins and licorice to boot. Oh maybe this is the perfect pair well-worn boots. As opposed to jean. Yeah that’s it.
On another note, has anyone actually worn blue jeans or boots since pandemic?

We enjoyed this Zin a lot. Tasting notes include all spice, floral, and strawberries. It’s potent with 15% alcohol. Paired well with dark chocolate and honey/garlic pork chops.
