It's a decent THIRD label wine.

Past its best. Homage to a label but failed to deliver

Drank 9/16/27. Popped and let sit for 30 min. Had with burgers.

Budget wine from the makers of Haut Brion.
Light to medium nose of black cherry, plum, and some spice. The fruit on the palate showed much better with some food. Medium palate of plum, cherry, tobacco and cocoa powder. Medium tannin, without much wood presence. Moderate finish. OK wine from a great vintage. Drink now as it is likely starting to loose some concentration.

The label says inspired by Haut Brion. I'm throwing a red flag...

2009 vintage. Label says Inspired by Haut-Brion. More like a mild reflection of Haut-Brion. A little sharp at first, it improved after a half hour. Light bodied with minimal oak. An everyday quaffer.

Not bad for a second label.

Nice with food but not really able to stand up on its own as a drinking experience. Rough tannins and low fruit.
