Irata Offida Pecorino Pecorino

Very pleasant surprise. Full bodied Pecorino. Herbal with notes of lemon, hints of tropical fruit, and chiseled minerality. Not light but the refreshing persistence on the palate keeps me coming back to the glass.

A lovely pecorino . So balanced with the 14% alcohol . Excellent organic producer

2013 vintage.
Could not loose a very funky nose, unfortunately.
White peach, pineapple brine on the palate pinned by varietal acidity. Too long maceration, odd yeast strains?

I’m a fan. Far, far more sophisticated than any other pecorino I’ve had.
