Unsure about this wine! Aging potential? I found this locally at Hyvee grocery under $14.
It took approximately 30 minutes for VA to subside.
Minerals galore! Light orange in color. Medium body; Watermelon rind..white flowers..tangerine.
Presents with more minerality than fruit!
I am grateful that I gave this wine a chance to strut it's feathers...first impression was "vinegar dump it:! 🙄

Colour is a bright tea rose...and the palate has some of that, too. Best served cellar temp, not too cold. Citron, strawberries, heavy herbal undertone. Jasmine. Lean, none of the flabbiness that mourvèdre can sometimes bring. Medium finish. Transporting. Interesting that DNA profiling has revealed that tibouren, the echt Provençal grape is identical to the fascinating Ligurian rosesse. Both make stunning wines and deserve greater exposure.

Jul 9th, 2018100% Tibouren, "Cru Classe," 60+ year oldest vines. Fun & funky wine out of Provence--Between an orange wine and a rosé. Aged under fleurette (a thin veil of yeast). Perfumed lychee, quince, floral, peach, apricot, round palate, bright but gentle acidity, herb, saline, nutty.

Jul 18th, 2017Cotton candy nose & then blammo, tons of acidity coming down the pike. Long finish on the tongue... tongue's like a Crisco-oiled slip n slide by the time it's done. Missing some of the funkiness of the earlier vintages I've had but I still gets down with this excellent rosé any chance I get.
