Great harmony, complexity and freshness. Really nice acids and a huge granite impression. Very pure and elegant. Tropical flavors on the palate echo the nose but are very restrained. Wonderful.

Cloying nose of lavender honey with wet pebbles. Very perfume-y.
Palate is dried citrus pith blended with fresh papaya and mango, unique combo, yes...but evolving more with each sip, very interesting stuff here.

Jul 20th, 2018Big wafting nose. Honeysuckle, guava, even some plantains. Mineral with some granite as well peeking through and way way floral. Almost a floral paste. Hint of wood. So killer. So pure. Sick classic Billon Condrieu nose. Palate is classic Billon and not gloppy and floppy but has energy and intensity while also showcasing the exotic side of Condrieu. Shows amazing persistence and great dramatic minerals on the finish. Excellent.

Nose is just jumping out of the glass, much improved in a year, lavender honey, ripe papaya, pineapple core, hints of oak and fresh sage.
Palate has banana peel, mango, cold butter, lemon pith, orange pith and granite pebbles.
Last bottle 😕. Likely this could hold until 2022+ and continue to improve.
