This 2008 was already in the cellar, bought it haphazardly at Cave des Papilles in Paris last spring. Was really looking forward to it but this one doesn't live up to the expectations. It's a bit tired, worn down. There is a weak pétillant, little brused apple and a some oxidation notes. Bad signs! A nice wine shined through though, but it should have been drunk a long time ago. Too bad!

Dec 25th, 2015Yep this empties fast. Blend of Sauvignon Gris and a little Chardonnay. Silex soil. Aged on the lees. Really like the body on this wine, very present but never heavy. Nice spark of chalk/stones around the corners. A lot of wine at this pricepoint. I still have a 2008 in my cellar. Very curious how that will be.
