Alfio Moriconi Selection Cuvée Vieilles Vignes Sancerre Sauvignon Blanc

First bottle of Sancerre. This is very good. I'm not sure if this is ages in oak or not but I get some oak characteristics on the palate. Still has the citrus flavors that are expected from sauv blanc

Nice sharp white with a smooth finish, not particularly dry. Great aroma.

A pleasant Sauvignon Blanc. Very easy to drink; light and citrusy.

This is a very easy wine to drink. Very nice on the palate. I would buy this wine.

Nice strawberry notes with a hint of limestone/minerality lingering on the back of the tongue. Crisp and dry yet fruity and wet.
