Dark fruit. Currant. "Burnt sugar". Some red fruit on the palate. Vanilla. Round yet bright with medium + acidity. Long finish. Had with smoked lamb and rosemary fingerling potatoes.

Rich core of fruit, plush, silky texture, surprising dusty tannins. Gave it a pretty long decant and it was quite accessible now. Very, very tasty.
