Nice merlot-dominated blend from Napa. A little one-dimensional. I’ll give it a few hours and see how it develops.

Gorgeous black cherry licorice aromas lead you to flavors of rich mixed berries, a hint of baking spice, dried herbs & juicy plums. The finish started out surprisingly lingering with dried cherries & Leather... the longer it was open, the shorter the finish became. Great wine & still had a youthful splash. 🙌🏽

So incredibly tannic, but that's their style. A barrage of black fruit- currants, blackberries and a pretty decent level of acidity. Don't bother opening for at least another 5-8 years.

Blackberry, tobacco, anise. Big tannins...broader shoulders than I expected. Think I need a water crisp.

Great wine, old and unfortunately going bad

Decanted this 2006 for a day before drinking. I did taste when I first opened and it was good but after a day it was soft and luscious in the mouth and tasted precisely like what it is, a merlot driven Bordeaux. It paired beautifully with a hearty beef stew and then was great on its own.

This was a 1993. Was good there was some sedament

Could sit another 5 years. Awesome cab with a lot of depth to it.
