Should not have opened this bottle. Way too early. The second night it was much improved - black and red fruit, leather, spices, wet earth. I’m gonna let the rest sit at least 5 years. Might improve up to a 9.0-9.1 then.

N:Stewed Plums, chocolate, funk.. swampy funk. A bit of cherry. Cardamom.
P: Gravel road, plums, sous-bois, chocolate, Tannins still a bit cheeky.

Bloody, beefy, merlot nose. Dark red fruits. Palate is a bit thin, finish a bit short, but nice souis bois, herbal aspect.
Decent tannic structure. Would have like to see this 2 years ago.

Interesting wine! 1st taste full body smooth then nothing, 2nd taste basic pH & salty then neutral, 3rd taste buttery oily body. Interesting
