3 years must have been too long a wait. In spite of thermocontrol, it hasn't aged well. You can still feel the fruit, but it's past its prime. Will not finish the bottle.

Fun wine but the balance isn’t quite there yet. Brooding fruit but also feels pretty hot on the alc despite the 13% on the label. Might need some time to settle.

Really interesting/complex Beaujolais. Bitterness with some tannins. Smells of cherries and apples. Tastes more of black currants... Really compact burst of flavors.

Clove-y, pie crust.
Hot, prickly, jam/stone,raspberry.
Tannic, salivating under the tongue.
Light body.

Solid Brouilly. Have had multiple times in multiple US locations. Not gonna knock socks off but a good buy at price point

Ripe raspberries, briar, mineral, med + acid, fine tannin. If this is typical of the 2016 vintage, I'll be excited 😊
