Château Thivin
Famille Geoffray Côte de Brouilly Gamay
Very complex, and changes constantly in the glass. Bright acidity, with low tannins and slight funk. Herbaceous and yummy.

May 12th, 2021It’s starts out quite fruity but unique and very enjoyable. As it continues to breath it gets more complex and bolder. It drinks several times it’s price. I think spectator gave it a 93 - I’ll go so far to give it a rare 94. Exceptional value at under $30 and everything a good wine should be.

1 person found it helpfulDec 12th, 2020Bright, ripe dark cherry and raspberry fruits, with some fleshy, savory characteristics. Bright acidity, long fruit finish. Keeps up with the ham we paired.
