This is a very formal Beaujolais , in that other ones are fun and easier to approach. This one requires you to take it seriously. Apparently this is grown on granite, from what you can tell, there’s enough structure to be almost ready to join the army. Good tight flavors of concentrated fruit, and the random escapement of florals and strawberry. A wonderful expression of Beaujolais in this area. definitely worth trying to compare to the broader region is a whole.

More depth than most Gamay. The operative word here is balance.

One of those wines you smell for 10 minutes before sipping because it's so intriguing and enjoyable. Flint, sulfur and rich berry. The long awaited sip doesn't disappoint. So rich and intense. Thanks to my brother for sharing one of these ass-kicking wines. If u enjoy gamay, u have no idea what this tastes like. It blows away 99% of them you've ever had. I'm hard.

A great find in Austin at Vinaigrette! Super surprised - good body but not too heavy to drink outside on a warm summer evening.
