This is a big and burly Saint-Emilion. Dense, concentrated, yet balanced. Lots of (soft and ripe) tannines, leather, coffee, dark plums, touch of cassis, polished furniture, humidor, smoky notes of grilled greens.
Very, very nice.
Bought this in 2014 chez Maltus, during my first Primeur-visit.

No regrets at the $75 paid. Typical St. Emilion with dark berries and oak. A bit too much acidity and tannins for me, even on the 2nd day, but that could still mellow with a few more years of storage. Decent wine.

Palate: Dry. Medium Acidity. Medium+ Tannin. Medium+ Body. Pronounced Flavours of Blackcurrants, Plums, Vanilla and Oak. Long Finish.
