I had it a year ago, and it is still drinking very nicely, although it doesn't need that long to open up. Drink in the next 5 years.

1 person found it helpfulAug 11th, 2014Founded in 1934, Chateau Ste. Michelle is the oldest winery in Washington with some of the most mature vineyards in the Columbia Valley. From their 40-year old Cold Creek Vineyard, Dark red with dark berry fruit aromas and complex spice. On the palate blackberry, blueberry and current flavors with leather and herb spice on a silky tannin structure, well balanced. Finish lingers ending with a little mineral tones.

May 27th, 2021A bold, full bodied wine with a fairly dry finish, and no shame. The flavor is improved many times after it opens up.
