Chateau Ste. Michelle
Limited Release Stone Tree Vineyard Syrah
Of everything I've had tonight, this one is the best so far, but still not anything to write home about. Savory, blackberry, dusty cocoa and velvety tannins. Could pass for an Aussie Shiraz.

Feb 2nd, 2015Red fruit on the nose, maybe a hint of vanilla early in the bottle. Cherry forward on the palate, smooth, dry, mild pepper oaky finish. Second day subtle nose and palate, remained smooth w/ more cedar on the finish.
