Of everything I've had tonight, this one is the best so far, but still not anything to write home about. Savory, blackberry, dusty cocoa and velvety tannins. Could pass for an Aussie Shiraz.

Deep purple in the glass. Nice spice but smooth on the palette. No lingering finish.

Red fruit on the nose, maybe a hint of vanilla early in the bottle. Cherry forward on the palate, smooth, dry, mild pepper oaky finish. Second day subtle nose and palate, remained smooth w/ more cedar on the finish.
