Such a steal. But Columbia Valley reds usually are. This Indian Wells Merlot is delicious. Blackberry and vanilla. Smooth and still very nice a day later.

Will I think this is the first varietal merlot in my feed and I certainly know why. Even with a very good price from my local Costco (around $11 pre tax) this is just forgettable to me.

Some may call it balanced, but I find it more lacking. Its not subtle. Simply unexpressive and far too light. Some nice pepper, oak...but ultimately lacking distinction.
