Chateau Ste. Michelle
Columbia Valley Syrah
Probably a little past its prime. Pronounced oxidation with a minty, herbaceous quality. Definitely leaning more toward the savory end of the spectrum. A slight bit of black pepper still.

Jun 1st, 2023My first Washington state wine.
Syrah is not my favorite strain. But the wine is tasty. Silky tannins, ripe plum and overripe cherry, earthy. I will probably not repeat it, but for the new pin on the map it was worth it.

Very nice Columbia Valley Syrah. Dark purple colour, aromas of blackberry, vanilla and oak. Hints of chocolate and pepper spice punch through on the palate.

Dec 17th, 2021Slightly disappointed after having such high hopes for this Syrah coming out of my favorite vineyard. Too fruity forward with not enough spice and dryness. Flavors consist of cherry, plum, boysenberry and oak.
