Initial tastes include but are not limited to cedar wood marinating in formaldehyde, sweat of a baboon sitting in a steam room next to a really awkward guy with peyronies syndrome, candied pickles. No tannins present however a slick layer of acidity makes this wine a joy when munching on pop corners in a bowl with stale tostitos. Highest quality producer ever.

A good example of Riesling in Washington, but middling for the variety

2012 Chateau Ste Michelle Riesling. In between sweet and dry, lovely nose. Very easy drink with a slight acidity. Nicely done.

Not too sour and not too sweet. A bit of spritz on the tongue adds a nice texture to this wine. Pairs perfectly with a spicy dish for a nice, smooth contrast.

This is where it all started for Washington wine. No comparison to German Riesling. 1 sided wine that's neither super sweet nor dry. It's a great intro wine to white wins, but I don't recommend you stay there. Moving on! $6 / 83pts
