Founded in 1934, Chateau Ste. Michelle is the oldest winery in Washington with some of the most mature vineyards in the Columbia Valley. A blend of 89% Cab Sauv, 7% Syrah, 1% Mourvedre and small amounts of Cab Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Malbec & Grenache. Dark red with ripe dark fruit aromas and spice on the nose. The palate shows Jammy blackberry and cherry flavors with soft tannins. Well balanced this wine is great to drink now. Nice value. Consistent quality.
