Apr 14th, 2019Clear golden in color, medium+ viscosity. Nose sees white flowers, fresh lemon, peach, a tiny bit of oak. Palette sees medium+ acid, healthy dose of oak, honeysuckle, honey. Alcohol is surprisingly high- listed at 14.5%. Nice, solid, American style Chardonnay with a bit more cold climate taste than Napa.

2013 vintage. Ste Michelle makes very consistently delectable oaked Chardonnay from their Cold Creek vineyard. My year to year stand by for excellent every day wine drinking. I will not buy too many stainless steel Chardonnays because Ste Michelle has spoiled me with their balance of oak and fruit so that both are noticeably present on the palate.

Aug 22nd, 20162014 vintage. My Chardonnay stand by. There are others with greater wow factors but for my money this is consistently high on my valued list. I love the fruit flavors and I like it even more as a silky, oaked chard. I am a die hard for full bodied but not overly oaked Chardonnay. Balance is great and it has good legs. I will not stop buying this wine!
