Canoe Ridge Estate Chardonnay

Apple, lemon candy, dried apricot, oak and honeydew melon. Good acidity and balance.

This was fairly pedestrian, and as such, I don't feel bad at all drinking it out of a paper cup with a sub sandwich while watching Shakespeare in the park.

What a lovely, surprisingly restrained and well-balanced New World chard. Spiced apple crumble, pear, candied Meyer lemon zest, chalky mineral notes on the nose. Great acidity, elegance, and freshness on the palate much like fresh linen, a bit of savory herbaceousness, Bosc pear, finishing with length and lightness.

Good, but now mind blowing. Apple, stone fruit. Decent finish.

One of the bottles we bought at the Chateau Ste. Michelle winery in Washington. Overall a decent Chardonnay!

Light body, not overly tart. Sharp finish. Not overly oaked. Refreshing.

Vanilla and cream dominate the aroma. The palate has a little apple and citrus mixed in, but it’s still dominated by the vanilla and cream. Acidity and minerality seemed a little too weak to me.

Nice with apple and citrus forward. Good acidity and pretty well balanced at this value price.
