Perfect rainy night claret. Nice aged aromas. Tar, cassis, tobacco, soil, floral. Really aromatic. Saddle leather. Killer classic medoc. Palate is juicy and has a little bit of grit but I love it as that is the character of 2002. Firm spine but generous as well. Terrific balance and ripe yet firm tannins.

Nice punch, even better considering the 15 years in the bottle. Powerful tanins and red fruits, finishing with dark olives
