Nose has ash covered blackcurrants, crushed black cherries, oak firewood stack, blackberry cordial and dried sage.

Palate has clay covered blackberry, dried black cherry, dried blackcurrants, anise, fine tannins with slight saline notes to the medium finish.

A very nice effort, double decanted then 24H rest, based on others notes this wine needed a wide berth and I'm very pleased with the outcome.

Deep Ruby with aromas of berry fruits and floral notes. On the palate flavors of ripe cherry and raspberry with dried flower herb spice. Fine dusty tannins on medium finish ending fruit, oak and mineral character.

At 14.5% a bit bigger than I tend to drink. By day 2/3 I was happier with the balance. Good concentration. Definitely the oak monster lurks

Delicious with an hour of air. 80% Merlot, 20% Cab Franc. Cassis, berries, earth, oak. Plump with ripe tannins and round acidity. Approachable with aging potential.

Juicy red fruits offer freshness, balanced acidity and integrated tannine structure. Nice Sunday afternoon wine.

Green like weeds, disjointed, some enjoyable savory components. It’s a pass for me

The potential is in this bottle, and it may taste great in 2025. But now, even after 1 hour open, it is harsh and unpleasant. Perfumed nose and starts with great fruity flavor, but the harsh tannins were too strong. After 3 hours open, it improved, so I would recommend a very long period of decanting before tasting.
