Old Vines Red Blend

My goodness, this is very delicious. 65% Grenache and 35% Syrah. Each grape pulls its weight in this blend, to great effect. Dark, brooding fruit with smoke and heat, but soft in the mouth. A short finish, maybe a little flabby, but it just tastes so good. I'm enjoying it with a hedonistic little charcuterie for one, and Ken Burns' country music documentary.

3/2024. Good medium bodied Grenache 65% Syrah 35% mix. ACL 15%. Not as bold as I anticipated.

12/23. Smooth. Nice on the palate. Good week night wine.

A classic table wine blend, smooth, semi-sweet, medium bodied, light enough to pair with seafood and vegetables, while deep enough to pair with light meats.

11/2022. Nice red blend, 65% Grenache & 35% Syrah. Bold and full of flavor. Nice finish. Dark purple in color.

Run of the mill Roussillon blend: dark & inky - berry fruit w/distinct garrigue & lavender, medium bodied, kinda flabby w/rustic finish. Don’t know what the hell Jeb Dunnuck was thinking with his 92 point score.
