Every now and then a young Pradeaux is the perfect wine. Dark color. Stunning nose of moss, leather, spice bazaar, blackberry liqueur and almost a rusted character like good Nebbiolo. Sick nose. But obviously young. Palate is huge and dense. Chewy with black fruits on a Stoney background. Almost port like on the palate but backed up by extraordinary freshness and depth. This needs 20 years but is fun to watch over 3-4 days.

Still young, autumn leaves, red berry fruit, chestnut, kind of get an old school Barolo vibe, hint of raisins, juicy ripe and velvety, terrific acidity, fresh, so pure, big tannic, chewy, needs 10 years. Sappy and echoing finish. So classic.

Barolo-level tannins. Very good wine, but not the least bit comfortable.

Sooooooo earthy almost Barolo like. Probably shouldn't have opened this one but couldn't resist. Glad I have another bottle. #seeyouin10years #mourvedrè #bandol

I had the Lounge Garde, really meant to have in about 25 years. This is super tannic and really dark. Tones of wood, it's like intense cedar and oak. But this is all a good thing, I've never tasted a wine at such a magnitude. Great cellar wine.
