Very reserved aromatically. Pretty and soft, with plum black tea and cocoa notes. Like many 2012s, it’s missing some mid palate density, but works quite well for current / short term drinking

Some development in colour, a mix in smell of cherries and plums, vanilla. Still tannic in taste but not disturbing after aeration. This #poujeaux delivers, it is #moulis reliability. Fine wine from a year one need not to put away a decade before enjoying it. #medoc 48% cabernet sauvignon 43% merlot 6% petit verdot 3% cabernet franc

Very expressive nose. Damson plum, black cherry, sage. A little mocha on the finish. Drinking well with some air/decanting at this very early stage.

Licorice, dry, smooth. Some pepper on the finish. Balanced tannins, very versatile. Meat, lamb, stew, coco vin? Give it some air and you'll still be sipping after dinner.
