Pomerol Red Bordeaux Blend

Moueix has turned this property around big time! Quite the pleasant Pomerol!

Vintage 2009 | smell with tobacco, coffee, cedarwood and prominent earthy tones. The taste is masterly velvet, só beautiful and a Point now. | Paired with tunafish and grilled vegetables

It is very “Pomerol-ly”, with a nicely masculine and complex nose reminiscent of forest floor, cooked mushrooms and cassis. At around 25 euros a bottle it’s great value. Tasted en primeur (2017)

Cranberry. Pomegranate. Steel. Rock. Dried rose pedal.

Awesome! Went extremely well with the tomato, onion and cucumber salad along with the Brie. Aging with grace and ready to drink but still has many years ahead of it. Delicious.

Bought En Premiur and perfectly stored. This producer tends to be solid even in lesser vintages. Oak was a little too prominent but the lighter 07 vintage probably helped reveal this.

Fine tannins, balanced acidity, great quality Pomerol
