Boysenberry, blackcurrant, pencil lead, lashing of spice, sweet herbs and leafiness. Down right delicious

Needed a day to come together. Just out of the bottle it was harsh and difficult to approach. On day two it was beautiful, it totally opened up. Powerful fruit, backbone of herbs and minerals. Long finish. Unbelievable quality at this pricepoint! But don't drink it the first day. Give it time in the decanter! 'Spilite' by the way is a reference to the vocanic rocks that are to be found in the vineyard.

Showing much better than previous bottles. Ripe, rich, mineral infused fruit. Beautiful purity and freshness. Chewy tannins that are thoroughly ripe. Terrific long finish.

10 years young. Ripe red fruit, serious but ripe tannin, gun powder and bell pepper. Long and lean. Very nice.

Lovely Anjou can franc. Medium body dark garnet color, slight vegetal nose and taste with cedar and dark plum jam to balance out. Very good alone to savor or with food.
