Vintage 2007 | My goodness. Chaume is such a privileged location. And happily... one that a lot of people do not know yet. Claude Papin is a top winegrower. Mahony colour. Deep mahony. A smell with figs and honey. Lavendel honey. Awesome balanced taste. A Chenin Blanc that belongs to the top of the world. | Paired with duck liver from Hofstede de Blaak

Fantastic balance between fruit, sugar and even a bit of acidity. Love it.

Faintest smell of honey. Glass we had was meant to focus on flavor itself. Toastiness of fresh blossoms carmel Creme slight mango for depth. Crispness of late harvest chenin blanc shines through. Perfect pairing with our lavender Creme brûlée

Not as sweet as you would expect. Like drinking walnut extract.
