100% Syrah really captures the nuances of the Paso Robles region. Law, one of the only vineyards that was not affected by the frost in 2011, did this year very well. Beautiful structure. I feel this wine is underrated and will age well. Don't judge it for what 2011 is now. Nice influence of French oak, chocolate, and full bodied. Throw back to one of my favorite wines of all time. Nose consists of blackberry, black currants, plum with white pepper spice of the Santa Cruz mountains. Dark ruby color, dark, and inky. Long lasting on the palate. Smokiness but balanced with fruit. Perfect time to drink now. — 10 years ago
