Jul 22nd, 2022Sweet tasting but paired with egg roll bowls and sesame oil. Great full body. Would love to get another bottle to age for a few years.

May 11th, 2021Medium pale gold; honey, walnut and apple on smell, also some rubber or waxy qualities; broad, stale taste of oxidation, with more of the honey, walnut, and yeasty qualities similar to lighter sherry. Dry with good acid; long finish. Not for every meal, but a good, interesting wine.

Mar 2nd, 2018Tangerine and tangerine pith, a little quince, ripe and round but balanced by acidity. One of the best 1997 Savennieres I've had.
