Sweet notes of honey, apple and we stone minerality and some oxidative hints on nose; fresh but full bodied, flavours of apricot, honey, cooked apples, vanilla, walnuts and some bready savoury tones. Long delicious finish.

Nice combo of orchard fruit, wet stone, and wax. Body ✔️ Grip ✔️ Acidity ✔️ Length ✔️

Sweet tasting but paired with egg roll bowls and sesame oil. Great full body. Would love to get another bottle to age for a few years.

Medium pale gold; honey, walnut and apple on smell, also some rubber or waxy qualities; broad, stale taste of oxidation, with more of the honey, walnut, and yeasty qualities similar to lighter sherry. Dry with good acid; long finish. Not for every meal, but a good, interesting wine.

Tangerine and tangerine pith, a little quince, ripe and round but balanced by acidity. One of the best 1997 Savennieres I've had.

Biodynamic, young producer who uses noble rot to create depth but the wine is dry and funky (not sweet)
