Ripe blueberry, baking spices and slight leather...took some time to open...then the cab frank started to show itself and integrated beautifully..

The 2014 is a little lean and green relative to the great vintages from this producer.

This is a baby brother that truly stands up on its own. The nose is like a wind swept field of raspberries. Black fruit and cassis drive the palate, with some tobacco rolled in. Medium acidity and long finish. Delicious

I gazed into the recesses of one of my wine fridges and saw this young sapling; I could not resist the call of indulgence. Remarkable purity of fruit with plums, cherries, rose petals, mint, graphite, and tilled earth. Looking forward to this opening up.

Beautiful cherry fruit on the nose. Right gritty tannins show it’s youth, but they let go in 30-40 minutes. Opened to a well rounded Bordeaux. This was a pleasure. Medium+ on the body.

Drank this side by side with the 2015. Initially was very tight when opened, but was very nice after about an hour. Much more mellow and earth toned as compared to the 2015.
