One of the top handful of crus bourgeois properties IMHO and this bottle was smoking good. A classic vintage with supple tannins, good acidity and perfect balance on the palate, with cassis, herbs and pepper notes. Killer with steak.

Aug 16th, 2025One of the better value Bordeaux estates, I paid €13. A leaner, earthy style that is still showing very tight and in need of extended air. Tannins are a little clunky but a hunk of cheese set it right.

Nice dry Medoc. Slightly chalky. Wouldn't go out of my way to find another bottle, but good for a Sunday afternoon under the umbrella. :)
