So very Pessac (not "ape sack," which is what auto-correct wants to use). That baked stone character that's so identifiable despite the fact that people rarely bake stones then smell them.

A really nice and well developed Pape Clement with medium body and length that is ready to drink and is a foodie wine with lots going on. Recommended.

GL tasting Pape Clement 10/18/17. Nose that's more vegetative and mushroom and leather. Body medium and palate that's really complex and with hints of oxidation and long finish. The oak is resolved.
