2012 vintage. Merlot (55%) and Cabernet Sauvignon. Very cheap for a Haut-Médoc Cru Bourgeois at 5,95 euro, but it's green and vegetal with a drying finish. Abv. 12,5%. I'm always prudent to judge a single bottle, let's hope I fell on a bad one.

Very affordable vintage, tasted at a wedding. The nose is evolved on undergrowth and tertiary and toasted notes. The mouth confirms the nose with also notes of tangy red fruits that bring freshness. Nice value for money.
Cuvée tres abordable, goûtée lors d’un mariage. Le nez est évolué sur des notes sous-bois et tertiaires, toastées. La bouche confirme le nez avec aussi des notes de fruits rouges acidulées qui apportent de la fraîcheur. Beau rapport qualité/prix.

Purple colour black fruit , spice hint of cinnamon. Very dry slight astringent feel. Not a lot of length. High alcohol felt warm in stomach. Not smooth very dry aftertaste. £12 not for me.
