Development of some of those lovely soft leathery notes but retaining red and black fruit, cranberry and plum and blackcurrant. Hints of chocolate. Very approachable and still developing. Superb with lamb shoulder.

2005 just a little soft. Would have been better two years ago, but still a fantastic wine

Opened up well after decanting, smooth tannins. Cherry and dark fruit with tobacco. Paired excellent with bison dish. 2005 continues to be one of my favorite vintages for Pomerol which is drinking very well. Nice bottle to end a great surprise weekend on the west coast.

I still have not had a 2005 Bordeaux that wasn't very good to excellent. This one is no exception. Lots of cherries, wild mushrooms, and a little tobacco. Very smooth tannins and not too big. I'd say medium bodied. Very nice.
