Chateau Montelena
Potter Valley Riesling
Very hard wine to figure out. On the nose notes of petrol, almost like a German Riesling, but also cloyingly sweet, like freshly made cotton candy. On the palate it’s bone dry and very acidic. Unusual but not my fave.

Aug 18th, 2020Medium to high acidity without much in the way of other complementary flavor factors that take it from good to great.

Apr 26th, 2020Super drinkable, not sweet. Surprising for a Riesling. Good pairing wine with Indian or Thai food.
