Un vin qui se demande ce qu il fait dans ta bouche et qui essaye de te booster à la fin en te mettant un petit coup d'acidité. Plat pas top sauf au nez où il nous en met plein!

Medium straw lemon colour . On the nose quite discreet notes of honeysuckle, white flowers , ripe pear , touch of peach . On the palate quite cool fresh yellow stone fruits , round and juicy , with a touch of fresh herbs at the end , good balanced acidity . Decent length and extract , just noticeable alcohol. This is drinking well now , still tastes pretty fresh and young , so may well be fine over the next 5 or so years , though is unlikely to improve. At the end of the day it is quite a simple , white CNDP , though enjoyable none the less, and has aged well.

Clearly going downhill. Traces of oxydation in the nose : sour apple and a subtle nutty thing. There is some white flowers too. The palate is a bit watery now, there is a bit of lemon and some buttery touch on the sides. A bit of bitterness in the rear and the acid backbone is what remains as part of the skeleton of this wine. Too bad

Plenty of freshness and a little weight, with some spiciness to finish (perhaps alcoholic lift?).

V13. Very nice floral and fusel oil nose. Pear & pineapple fruit. Baking spice finish, nice acid levels. Good alternative white wine.

Lovely CdP blanc. At Au fil de la Degustation bar à vin on the way to Jean-François’ for dinner.
