Dark red color and crazy legs. Heavy raspberry nose. Raspberry, blackberry, dark chocolate and some spice. Vanilla finish. Good but lacking my some depth.

Dark ruby in color with a purplish rim.

Strong earthy nose with currants, cherries, blackberries, wood, light vanilla, tobacco, peppercorn, bell pepper, vegetables, herbs, light milk chocolate, forest floor and spices.

Medium bodied with with medium acidity and nice legs.

Dry on the palate with black currants, oak, licorice, green herbs, vegetables, green pepper, tobacco leaf, earth, forest floor, black tea, smoke, peppercorn and spices.

Medium plus on the finish with fine grained tannins and tart cherries.

This Cabernet based blend, is very earthy and could use a few more years in the bottle. Nice, balanced and drinkable now. Shows elegant complexity, but still too earth right now.

Needed a couple of hours to open up properly, and evolved every 15 minutes in the decanter. Would drink much nicer in 3 to 10 years.

A blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Merlot. Grapes are grown on soil of clay, pebbles and sand, and aged for 14 months in (55% new) French oak barrels.

I paired it with a nice charcuterie board.

13% alcohol by volume.
