Les Planels La Livinière Syrah

Deep Ruby with purple hues, blend of 90% Syrah & 5% Grenache, aromas of dark berry fruits, oak and sweet spice. On the palate flavors of blueberry and blackberry with cacao, oak and vanilla. Fine full tannins, long finish ending with fruit, oak and sweet mineral character. Nice value!

Very good. Paired with breaded turkey cutlet pan fried in olive oil (and finished in the oven cause these turkey filets are a little thicker) with red kale salad and balsamic & olive oil dressing.

Full smokey and herbaceous nose, black and red fruit. Med + on pallet. Meaty and fleshy but clean. Light oak treatment med + acid on defined finish. A lot of wine for price. Very good.

for me this lies appropriately btwn la Touge and les Amandiers offering the better traits of both

The 14.5 % turned me off at first but this is balanced big time-plus vineyard is certified biodynamic in languedoc. Quite delic-think willie wonks gobs of black fruit but somehow restrained. All for under 20 $-impressive

Had higher hopes-- very upfront. Lacked depth and balance.

Tried this at IWM while my bag's contents rode dumbwaiter. Glad to wait bc this was great...and got added to to bag.
