Sipping Fine Wine

Owned by the Fabre family. Dark Ruby with ripe fruit aromas and earthy spice. On the palate blackberry and plums with fine dusty tannins, light and easy drinking, very little complexity. Medium finish ending with spicy notes. Drink now. Tasting Sample.

Fruity, tart, full body, nicely balanced. Typical France Bordeaux.

Young and inky. Fragrant black fruit, bolstered with some tobacco and leather, but with lackluster body.

Traditional medoc nose, structure, weight. 09 and 10 were austere, 11 seems more expressive on the nose with promising black fruit, but with unforgiving tannins.

Great drinking left bank Bordeaux for the price. Bolder in taste, cab forward with some added complexity from one of my favorite lesser known grapes, petite Verdot. Tannic and would pair excellent with some pepperoni pizza or good steak. Finding a left bank sub $25 is a feat, this meets the mark for the price!

Earthy with tobacco / rubber notes. Maybe a total wine gone wrong.

Nov 21, 2020. Worst expression of a left bank Bordeaux that I have ever tasted, and I’ve had a few. This is undrinkable. Will try it in a mulled wine, hope it doesn’t ruin that.
