Acidic, citrusy, lightly floral. Good for a pairing with some vegetables or by itself. Think this is a good bang for your buck, Sauvignon blanc white Bordeaux.

Château Lamothe Vincent Bordeaux Blanc 2024
Entre-Deux-Mers, Bordeaux, France 🇫🇷

Overview
A zesty, fruit-forward Bordeaux Blanc crafted from 87% Sauvignon Blanc and 13% Sémillon. This blend highlights Sauvignon’s crisp citrus lift and minerality, softened by Sémillon’s roundness and stone-fruited charm.

Aromas & Flavors
Bright and lemony in hue with green reflections. On the nose, tropical pineapple and citrus zest jump forward, underpinned by wet-stone minerality. The Sémillon component introduces subtle apricot and grapefruit layers that broaden the aromatic spectrum.

Mouthfeel
Juicy, textured, and vibrant with a refreshing interplay between freshness and roundness. The palate feels lively but also carries a satisfying weight, offering both lift and length.

Winemaking Notes
A classic white Bordeaux style with emphasis on freshness. Stainless steel fermentation preserves aromatics and minerality, while Sémillon’s structure brings depth and balance.

Food Pairing
Ideal with grilled flaky fish, oysters, or shellfish. Also pairs beautifully with goat cheese, fresh salads, or simply enjoyed as a bright, sunny aperitif.

Verdict
A cheerful and energetic Bordeaux Blanc that punches above its weight — approachable, refreshing, and versatile for both food and casual sipping. Additionally, 2024 delivers a racier, more mineral-driven profile than the riper, tropical 2023. Cheers,

TW very nice. Smooth flavor, medium to light body. Very enjoyable with pizza or pasta, very good alone. Lacks body for steaks and beef.

Note: this is for the Reserve Bordeaux. Very dry. Dark fruit. Spicy quick finish. Nice for the price. Purchased at Total Wine.

Acidic, citrusy, sharp. Nothing much beyond that. Doesn't have the juicy fruitiness of NZ sauvignon blanc? Bought from Wine Connection around $25 on offer. Girls night out, asparagus risotto. Compared with Matua Malborough sauvignon blanc
