Pyrazene, just ripe black cassis, mint and ash, deep lavender leaf, soft & smooth & round. Creamy vanilla on the finish. Very structured - grippy tannins on the finish too

Enjoyed at Crafthouse for Dad’s 60th, a special wine that warrants good ageing but shows brilliantly now. Tannic and v full bodied. Great stuff.

Château Lafleur-Gazin is situated between Château Lafleur and Château Gazin, and its immediate neighbor is Petrus - I bet that’s one hell of a neighborhood potluck. Currant, cocoa, fig, graphite, and cedar, with a bitter coffee streak that runs through it.
