St. Émilion Red Bordeaux Blend

Pretty nose of wet earth, big black cherry, and smoke. Sleek dark spicy dried blackberry, soft JD rich with nice provance spice finish.

Not my style. Sappy happy pappy.

1995- I drank this in Denmark with my family (2015). Very smooth.

Impressive St. Emilion.

20 years in and still going strong. Classic St. Emillion.

La Gomerie. 1999. Smokiness, forest floor, Dried fruits, grown in mostly clay. Single vineyard. Some red fruit flavors, earthiness, softer tannins. Silky smooth. 100% merlot.

Perfectly aged bottle but was a little disappointed by its lack of complexity

Some of the best values/hidden gems in my cellar comes from fine producers in less than perfect vintages. 97’s were definitely underrated. This wine is perfectly mature and in fine shape. Oaky for sure and fun to drink

Big nose. Palate not at the same level. But not saying it doesn’t impress. The nose is just awesome.
