The last bottle of a case bought upon release.
As it often goes - this was the best and absolutely singing for the modest price point.

Plenty of fruit left. Nice bdx which shows a great example of how well a solid bottle can be with 20 years on it.

I’m down to my last 5 bottles of a case bought over a decade ago and it is still holding up beautifully.
Should drink nicely for another 3-5 years.

Another of the Moueix family’s well run right bank properties. A merlot dominant wine dense and fruity with hints of cherry an mushroom. Lovely now. A very fine year for the right bank in an up and coming appellation.

Very smooth, chocolate notes. Cork was dry but it held up well in the cellar.

Georgeous, mature claret. Fruity, soft and fully mature.

At first I thought this average fronsac was just average if not below average. Clunky, leathery and old at first. I did not decant but I enjoyed the rest of this bottle over then next 45 minutes with spicy pasta. It opened up shedding its leathery texture revealing a desert like dry floral finish. Don't wait too long to enjoy this
