2017 vintage. Bekaa Valley. 40% syrah, 30% cabernet sauvignon and 30% cabernet franc. More spices than fruit, fresh acidity and rustic tannin. A bit drying in the rather short finish. Not bad, but had much better vintages of this wine.

Aromas of beef jerky and menthol cigarettes. Mouth-drying tannin; ground pepper, plum, green bell pepper. Great value

This blend of 40% Sirah, 30% cabernet franc and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, comes from the Bakaa valley in Lebanon. Grapes are grown at 1100 meter elevation at temperatures that range between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius, with gentle and continues breezes.

Light Red ruby in color.

Fruity on the nose with cherries, herbs, cranberries and black pepper.

A little acidity on the palate with cherries, cloves, blueberries, plums, pomegranate and peppercorn.

Medium bodied with nice legs.

Nice finish with soft tannins.

Not overly complicated or complex, but still nice.

13.5% alcohol by volume.

Are we in Bordeaux? Naw. Lebanon. Easily worth double it's price, crazy value.
