Vintage 2014 difficult to describe, but certainly not middle of the road

Unusual, interestingly spicy taste. Very good and only 9.99 and ampersand.

A Lebanese blend of French grapes??Now how the hell could I NOT try that. Very impressive and pleasantly surprised.

I found this to be too too light. I know it’s supposed to be less robust but I’m wondering where the flavors are and why it feels like watered down dust.

Deep ruby color thats a lot lighter around the edges giving it the look I feel that pinot noir was meant to describe but just doesn't on a modern example. Aroma is tobacco and bay leaf, just dry herby/earthy plant matter. Hint of cranberry letting you know it's fruit derived. Flavor definitely has that strong unsweetened cranberry flavor and tea leaves that leads to the most bone dry finish I have ever had in a wine. I didn’t love it at first, but liked it after it opened up a bit. The wine has a slight acidity but this is definitely mouth puckering bone dry wine. Really went nicely with chicken shawarma. On its own its probably rough, with food, excellent.

Had this bottle before and it was great, even same vintage. Something was off with this. Had only one glass.

Interesting spiciness, quite tannic. Al Nashashibi of Fairouz Cafe claimed this wine helped him pass exams in college, "I'm not joking".
