Blanc de Blancs Bekaa Valley Sauvignon Blend

My first experience with a Lebanese wine and I’m loving it. Starts with buttery popcorn on the nose, the palate opens with citrus, and the finish sways back onto the Chardonnay style malo butter. Very interesting blend of flavours. Quite impressed!

Vintage 2016 - quite surprising, vannila banaan and after aeration milkchocolate citrus. Prominent bitter in taste, good acidity.

First Lebanese wine. And loved it with all that Mamnoon had to offer (thanks to Wasif, the gentleman proprietor as well). A blanc de blanc that could make many Californian winemakers smile. Perfect with the hummus and the mahi. Can't wait to get back here.

Here you definitely get more tropical fruit on the nose, like pineapple with some butter'ish quality to it. Once on the palate astringent and mineral

This is a very mineral white wine. Slate, goose berries, mint, tomato leaf. Quite complex, and food friendly.

A little astringent. Medium acidity. Smells like tropical fruit but not in taste. Good minerality. Paired with nettles pesto and roasted romano beans

I’m doing the cat call whistle... what a beauty: golden colored with honey, peach, pineapple and beeswax on nose, def oak/vanillin, all well-integrated. Silky & sexy - great mouthfeel w/requisite acidity & long finish. Go find some of this gorgeous Lebanese juice!

Great once I got over this not being a sparkling wine

First wine ever from Lebanon, from a Château established by the Jesuits. . Nice white blend. Very enjoyable even as it warmed up.
